Our funds and awards
Scholarship fund
We can offer up to £500 to any of our tenants or their children who are currently studying, or intending to start a course of study at university. You will need to meet our Scholarship Fund Criteria.
Download our Scholarship fund application form to send us your details, including where and what you are studying, and set out how you would use the money to support your studies. We usually make awards in August each year.

Welfare fund
We have a welfare fund to support tenants and residents. Our Welfare Fund Panel decides on each application and can award a one-off payment of up to £200.
The fund is designed to help:
- individual tenants who need essential furniture (for example, new tenants, or tenants moving on from supported housing), and
- groups of tenants who want to enhance life at their estate (for example, by buying play or gardening equipment.
The fund is for people:
- who have tried but been unable to get funds elsewhere, or
- who did not get enough funding for the item needed.

Good rent payer prizes
If you keep your rent account clear, you could win £100.
We hold a prize draw every month, including all tenants who have kept their rent account either clear or in credit, for at least 12 months.
We draw one winner per month – but in December, we will draw four winners.
We have introduced these prizes to encourage you to get into good shape for the introduction of Universal Credit.
